I'm german and I play NL in english^^
I'm so used to the english names now...it's always getting confusing when my sister (who plays in german) talks about her villagers... sometimes I have no clue who she means
Some german names for new villagers sound really silly to me...
Bruce is Oswald
Lopez is Eckart
...

I prefer the name Purrl (my fav villager) over "Franka", as well...
My god, that name is so so cute and clever <3
