Anyone own more than two copies?

I have two and want so many more! I have a great idea for an all female villager inspired by the jungle book! All jungle animals found in south asian jungles I find I prefer to play one town at a time, right now I'm working on my town Thistle (witch, forest, and magical animal themed). What I might do is buy another cartrdige or two, find the perfect town map, and sloooowly move in all my fav villagers right from the start (ie when you only have five villagers). This way, I can take breaks from it, and come back to it whenever there are villagers I want available on the board without having to worry about constantly cycling out, and then landscape once all villagers are in place.

I have 8, but I only play 4 of them atm. Yes, I am an Animal Crossing addict. I started with one downloaded copy on release day. Then, I had the urge to start over from the beginning, but I didn't want to reset my town. So, I bought cartridge number 1 and then cartridge number 2 and so on til I wound up with 6 cartridges and 2 3DSXLs each with a downloaded copy on it.

I have four towns myself. I have a New 3DS XL and Zelda themed 3DS XL and they both have a physical copy and a digital copy of Animal Crossing New Leaf. I would recommend getting multiple copies for fruit, money, or whatever your little heart desires.

I have five.

1) Ruddyoak, my main town. I am completely remodeling it, but this is the town I play in. Due to adult life obligations, though, I frequently keep the clock set on the same day.

2) Goblin, my dream town that means a great deal to me. I keep it set on the same day, so it will stay the proper season and also so I don't have to keep up with moving villagers. I do start the game up to walk around and visit everyone and all that, it's just that it's almost always the same day. I'm preparing a Dream Suite update for it, with some slight improvements.

3) My newest dream town, that is almost complete and ready for sharing. After that, I plan to treat this town the way I treat Goblin--visit and play, but keep it on the same day for my sanity's sake.

4) I bought this one with a particular theme in mind, to be my third dream town, but now I have about six theme ideas in my head and I can't decide which will be best.

5) I lent/pretty much gave this to a friend in return for a favor. He doesn't play often, but it's fun when he visits.

I have three and I regret it so much. I currently have two of the three on hiatus with no set plan on when (or even if) I'll pick up the other two towns again. It's too stressful.

I would like to try out two towns but I don't think I would have the time to manage both. Also, since my current copy is digital I would not be able to transfer any items that are needed more in the other town.
