Anyone know how to make gifs?

Im trying to figure out how to create gifs! It'll be awesome if someone can help me make one!

you can google tutorials. people usually use GIMP or photoshop (i use GIMP bc i don't think my netbook can handle photoshop) but for simple gifs like my avatar. i usually make a psd in sai, then open it in GIMP and export it. however, if you want to make a gif from a video, i think you should use photoshop. like i said, there are tutorials online about gifs.

I use Photoshop. It's very easy to do, you just import video files into photoshop and they'll set the frames automatically. You can edit them out from the layers. Hit "Save for web and devices", save as gif and you're done :3

Thanks! Although I don't usually use those programs due to have using a ipad for TBT is there a way to do it on the ipad?

Bruh what Photoshop do you use? Because I have to grab each individual frame carefully, which opens each frame as a different file, so I have to copy and paste each frame into one file. Then I have to excruciatingly edit the same effect onto each individual frame because I don't know how to apply an effect for all layers at once.

My icon is 49 frames, and it took me 9 clicks to edit one frame, plus one click from one frame to the next, so it took me 490 clicks just to darken some midtones and lighten the highlights.

Such repetitive tasks is actually quite relaxing though. I think that's why I enjoy making GIFS, since I make so many but have shared maybe 2 or 3

Photoshop is definitely the easiest way to do it. There might be iPad apps for it but you won't be able to make very long (or good) gifs, probably just ones with a few frames.

and @rariorana I think I know what you mean but I'm not sure, but what I do is care the effect file/psd to the top and its automatically on all the frames.
