I had animal crossing a while ago, but someone stole my 3ds and all my games! I'm buying a new 2ds and animal crossing next week, and was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me bells, any amount is fine but the higher the better, I used to have so much that I had to give it away because I had too much (used a really dumb cheat). Thanks for reading, and helping out!

Hi, I see you're new. Posts like is is A.) Not allowed (because you're not buyng you're begging) and B.) In the wrong sub forum.

If you want bells, you should post to get TBT (the amount under your username that says bells) TBT is the fourm currency that you can exchange for ACNL bells later on

As the person before me said, you can get free bells with the TBT. :) You get TBT by posting new threads, commenting and being active. Then, you can either buy/trade stuff for the TBT or you can find a shop in Retail forum and exchange it for in game bells (IGB). I believe 50 tbt = 10 million igb. They show their exchange rates on the threads. :) Just look around. Good luck!

Actually there is no reason to stop you from asking, you might find some giveaways.
Jake said before that there is no rule for this. I would look at some different methods, like bug hunting and stuff. You might catch some giveaways sometimes. I wish you luck on your search!

Helpful, rude but helpful. (Don't tellv someone they are begging, it's very pompous and rude).

There is no rule for this, actually. The only wrong thing here is that it's the wrong area.

They should still read the rules to avoid any other mistakes. I'm simply trying to help and being called rude

Moved this to a board where it might get a little more (positive) attention. Good luck! :)

It's not rude... It's true.

TBT are really easy to gain, you should try this. With 50 TBT you can pay entirely your house!

Honestly you can't really say "Read the rules" when giving out misleading facts. I'm not calling you rude or anything. But the right area is a commonly made mistake, and it's allowed. They can simply change the subforum like they did now. Sorry for being blunt or anything. I don't think you're being rude. Anyway, offtopic so.
I'll try and catch some giveaways if I was you, I know a couple of users that have threads willing to give bells to new users. I would look in the train station for them if I was you. :)

They still need to read rules though, if they don't they could end up making more errors. yes I made 1 mistake, but so did they.

if you'd like, here is the link to all of the threads in re-tail with the "giveaway" pre-fix.

I can't see any rule saying this, It's not a rule. It's more common sense.
If anything there is a mini-modding rule, but not one that enforces the correct sub-forum.

I think you're not understanding what I'm saying.

Even if this thread didn't exist, they need to read the rules. Everyone should. No matter what they do/did

Why would you assume that they haven't read the rules? You don't post on every new user "Read the rules!". They haven't done anything to make you think that, anyway, I feel like this is getting off-topic.

Closing this. I had hoped that the argument would cease once a mod post was made regarding the thread.

milkbbi, feel free to re-create the thread here in Re-Tail. Good luck with finding someone who wishes to donate.
