Anyone ever have a dreamie for so long....

That you get to the point you don't even want them anymore? I do that. It's annoying. I look at them online until I'm just over it, and I move on to another villager.

Yup, that's happened to me plenty of times. It also bugs me when I've been requesting a dreamie for forever, and then someone gives that villager away to someone else ;c

I did really want Ankha for my main town but then I changed my mind and got Diana from my cycle town. Diana fits my town better anyway.

For a while I was sticking to a strict no time traveling rule, but it was taking forever for anyone to move out. It was really cutting into my enjoyment of the game because I had so many villagers I didn't want in my town >_< I recently started TTing just to get villagers out of my town, and I've now only got 1 dreamie left ^_^ If I had stuck to my no TT rule, I probably would have gotten really frustrated at how long it was taking to get all my dreamies and I may have just kept villagers I didn't actually want.

For me it was Mira, back in September I needed an uchi villager so they could suggest the PWPs I wanted, and I settled between Mira or Phoebe. At first I was leaning towards Mira because she was a superhero bunny, but as time went on I liked Phoebe more and more than Mira. At the end I got Phoebe, because she would actually fit my town better.

But now it doesn't matter, I'm getting Mira in my second town anyways ^^'

I think I'm nearing the point where I'm not going to bother with Marshal any more (mostly due to Cheri NEVER wanting to leave my town. I swear she wants to live in my town forever...) & if she ever does decide to leave, I'll probably just get someone else who will be easier to obtain.

Yes. Especially when you've been waiting for a villager, you finally get them and then you're just disappointed with them because you thought they were going to be so great and they're just not.

I get more attached to the villagers I've had the longest. I did however think that I just had to have Blaire. Once I finally got her, I wasn't so sure she was that great after all.

Yep. It's pretty much why I've ended up restarting all 3 of my towns. I got bored of the villagers I had in them; they were all former dreamies of mine. I have a new list made up and I'm determined to not get bored of these villagers no matter what.

I can really relate to this.

It was the same for me, I never wanted to Time Travel, but after getting so many villagers I just didn't like I had to start TT, because it started to really bother me and take fun out of the game.
What annoyed me the most was that I constantly got the same villagers as my partner. They weren't even villagers that left his town, just copies. At one point we both had Tipper, Phoebe and Camofrog in both our towns, which was the point when I was done with the no TT rule.

Zucker. I didn't want him at first, then he grew on me and I got him, but now I want him gone and he refuses to leave! I still think he's cute, I just don't want him in my town anymore.

It happened to me so much times , Eunice,Tia,punchy,scoot,Carmen,muffy,blanche,filbert,peanut,Lily,maple , but the one that has been with me for the longest is Diana c: 1 year and running.

Drake had been in my town since pretty much the beginning, he was one of my dreamies until he started to piss me off by sending me a letter in the meal almost everyday. I rarely ever got mail from anyone else, it was always him. e_o

I don't have any dreamies. There's 333 villagers in New Leaf, and I'm hoping to have each one in my town at least once.
