Anyone else still playing or just got Fantasy Life? Pros and cons? Thoughts?

Hi guys. My husband got me fantasy life and I am still on the fence if it is good or not. Does it get boring fast? What were your thoughts on the game? Did you just get it? What's your opinion so far? What did you hate/love about it?

Thanks guys for your thoughts!

It's fun, but be prepared for lots of dialogue. So much, in fact, that I skipped most of it.

To me, Fantasy Life is a fine choice. If you can deal with a tonnes of fetch quests and text, your journey will be quite a pleasant one. It also has a lot of content to offer, in which your playtime might be well over 50 hours without the DLC. Just don't expect Fantasy Life to be a truly groundbreaking game of its kind and you'll enjoy it.

It was fun for me actually but after the main story is over and you don't have the dlc the game just becomes dull

This was in the reviews I read too lol long dialogue doesn't bother me because I usually just skip it. I play Diablo 3 with my husband and I still don't know what the game is about lol it sure is fun though

I want to get the dlc too, I wonder how it is? Has anyone got it?

Yes! It is really great if it's the main game you play. I took a break for ACNL to play, and I spent like 100 hours on it. I haven't got to the DLC part, even thought I paid for it, but I will get there eventually. DLC in NA is $8.99.

I love the long hours! I really want a new game to try and I like the idea behind it. I am getting pumped to open it haha

Thanks for your feedback!

I played Fantasy Life for 200 hours in like 2 weeks. It is a really fun game but I totally burnt myself out on it.

It's a very cute game. As others have said, there is a lot of dialogue, which for me can be mildly irritating depending on my state of mind. It's not the game's fault though, sometimes I'm just really restricted on time. I haven't played the game for as much as others because Nintendo keeps throwing new shiny things at me, and because I'll always be obsessed with awakening, but even now, I don't regret buying that game for a second. Even with the small amount of play time, I've had tons of fun.

Spent 100h+ on it. Kinda burnt out now, but it was fun while it lasted!

The feelings about the dialogue seem to be really polarized, either you love it or you hate it (I'm...kinda more on the dislike side).
Loads of things to do, and the DLC really adds way more hours to it. There's the fantasy life thread pinned up on the board, and it was pretty active when the game was new (not so much now).

I forgot to say:
While the amount of dialogue irritates me sometimes, the dialogue itself is very fun to read, especially if you're like me and are a fan of bad puns.
