Anyone else remember before you joined TBT how much different AC was? For example, before I joined TBT, I bought a King Tut mask, and it was like 16k. I freaked out because it was all the money I had xD
So do you guys have any ACNL memories from before you joined TBT?

Omg yes, it was so different. I never dreamed of owning all the fancy sets & now I give them away I remember reaching like, 300k in my bank & celebrating. It was a simpler time.

I joined the forum the same day I pre-ordered my copy of ACNL. So none.

I've never really had to go through AC alone. People on a The Sims 2 forum convinced me to buy AC:WW when it first came out and they showed me the basics. Then shortly afterwards I started using an AC chat room where I got more involved with online play.

up until new leaf i had to play the game all by myself so i never really thought of joining a site like this but then my friend ruby introduced me about 4 months into playing new leaf and i was proper overwhelmed! before that i just played with my brother and sister and whoever i met at the island without a care. i still do, but i had 10x more fun before i had any fancy sets or was able to earn money fast

yes omg... I was poor and had no clue about plot resetting and all that... also I thought I was really rich when I had 1mil lol

I was ecstatic when I had 100k. It was amazing to me that I had more money than what my wallet allowed. I was also dead set on keeping my original nine. e.e Then I went on here, discovered dreamies, and saw a ton of cute villagers... My will shattered.

I remember one time I sold turnips for the first time, and I got 50k, and I thought to myself, "Raking it in." xD

Before joining tumblr or TBT I never thought I would ever get any of my dream villagers except by pure luck of random move in or campsite. o.o
And I only have 5 dreamies. XP

When i passed the Gracie test for the last and got T & T Emporium I WAS HAPPY. And when i payed off my loans to Tom Nook i was like NO MORE LOANS TO PAY

I had no idea what plot resetting was, or the sheer number of villagers there were. Now I look back on it, I wonder how I managed to escape having a villager plop their house right in front of mine.

Also! I do sometimes wonder what it would have been like allowing villagers to move in and out until my Dreamies were finally in town. But then I also think my town would be in an infinite WIP because I'd be afraid someone would move in and destroy my hard work. Now I know about plot resetting though, and that could help avoid some damage.
