Anyone else not plant other fruits?

I can't be the only one who does this. Whatever fruit is native to my town is the only fruit I ever have in that town. Right now I have peaches, so I will never have apples, oranges, pears, cherries, lemons, lychees etc in my town, it'll always just be peach trees.

I guess I just like to keep it simple and I think that having too many fruits makes it look a bit messy. I still have little orchards though, where I plant a ton of fruit trees and surround them with cedars or just normal trees. I also have an all-cedar section for the forest area.

Does anyone else do this?

I still have little orchards though, where I plant a ton of fruit trees and surround them with cedars - are those orchards just peach trees?

I think most players (myself included) have at least all the town fruits growing in town - that is because villagers can ask you for any fruit & its convenient to have them to hand. Well at least we try to get them all.
A basket of 5 foreign town fruit sells for 8999 at the flea market.

Growing the perfect version of your native fruit is a major bell earner, especially if you can sell them at premium in another town with a different native fruit. But guess you do grow perfect peaches.

Its not necessary if you can trade for a few baskets of other town fruit to have the stock for requests.
I do see what you mean tho - I don't grow the island fruits, just keep baskets of each of them ready for flea market sales/requests/Thanksgiving etc. However I do grow bananas & coconuts.

Yeah the orchards are peach trees :) If a villager asks for a fruit that isn't a peach then I usually just pop to a friends town to get some. I've never really used fruit to get money, even when I first started the game, I got most of my money from fishing, I don't like going round shaking all the fruit trees.

I like to spread out my fruit trees. Small orchards can look very nice, but it's not for me. The only types of trees I don't have in either town are lychees. To me, they look too similar to cherries...but not as pretty.

I've started just planting one or two of the other "main" fruit trees so if villagers ask for something I can grab it, but mostly I just use my native fruit and saplings from the shop.

I have all the fruit trees in my town, i like the variety.

Plus, ya gotta have some of those banana and coconut trees on your breach at least, dontcha??

I only have my native fruit, peaches, and in my other town has pears. I haven't really added any other fruits yet, but I might.

There's only native peach trees in Kamino because they match the town theme. I have baskets of perfect foreign fruit in storage whenever my villagers ask for one.

^^^Will forever be obsessed with your town names

Anyway, I like to have a few of each for extra bells and villager requests. The only fruit I refuse to have is durians. They're so ugly and they're terrible irl, whyyy are they in the game ew

i like planting having various types of fruits. and i dont have to travel when my villagers ask for a non native fruit.

I have the 5 main fruits but only planted in certain areas to make kind of a "gate" feel, each section being their own fruit, etc. I don't like the fruits from the island, though.

I like to have all the different fruit trees to add variety to town. I make sure to have more of the native fruit trees than other fruits since the native one is more special.

I normally like to have a variety, but I do like the simplicity of having only your native fruit.

I try to have at least one of every fruit tree.
But in my opinion mangoes, lychees and durians are kinda pointless.

I use more than one fruit, I like variety and I feel it makes my town look abit more colourful. :)

I've done the same. When I first started I planted all the fruits and then I harvested enough for a full basket each and replaced all my non-native trees with cherry trees.

I have coconuts and bananas on my beach.

I'm actually thinking of having one of each fruit tree on my island so I can run over and get some if I need them. I don't know yet though. I haven't decided.

Oh that's neat! Though I have every single type of /stump/fruits/dead trees, well not like every single stump design but y'know and I'm trying to gather in more bush starts now. I think your idea good! , yeah more clean and organzed too~ but can be same with all fruits and stuffed kind of towns... I like to do villager requests and just make my town a reflect of a quirky mayor xD

I'm sort of a similar way, I only like to keep my native fruit (cherries) decorated in my town, I guess it looks a little more organized lol. But I do have a small strip in the back corner of my town where I planted an orchard of every fruit in the game, because I like having them and also since villagers request non-native fruits a lot. I also have a couple coconut and banana trees on the beach for the purpose of just having them, also in case of villager requests too~ But as for the rest of my town the only fruit trees I plant are cherries.

I really only like a few fruits, so I'll have perfect cherries, peaches and lemons, and that's probably it :>
