Even though I just met him, I already have a special attachment for Dizzy.
I've seen him around before and considered looking for him in NL but that never happened. For some strange reason, he reminds me of all of the elephant stuffed animals I collected as a kid, because he looks so similar to one of my first stuffed animals. I'm pretty attached to my collection of stuffed animals, and somehow Dizzy just reminds me of my 10+ year old collection lol. He's also a sweetheart and lazy is also my favorite villager type so he's pretty special to me now lol
Gaston still feels special and I had him in New Leaf also. The dialog and personalities felt different for New Horizons so I'm glad Gaston didn't change to me.
Nan is also special but damn she needs something new to say.
I love Plucky probably more than anyone on the planet. Disliked her at first in Pocket Camp but she grew on me very quickly (and then I got her to max level and everyone else was roughly teen-levels or early twenties)...
Also, Hopkins. Never had him before but I love him and I would die for a plushie of him, which doesn’t make much sense since he’s clearly an inflatable rabbit.

i’m also shockingly attached to zucker - i used to not really care about him and so i wasn’t expecting much when i invited him from an island tour. but lo and behold, i now love the lil guy ;u;

I'd never met Yuka before, but I was on my last NMT and desperate for a snooty - she is so cool! Gives me the best gifts, cool house interior and exterior, and very pleasing color scheme ^_^
My favorite villager is Leopold, and that's been the case for as long as I can remember. It's weird cause I don't recall having him in my Gamecube town but I must've had him at some point (he prob just wasn't there v long cause villager move-outs in AC:GCN were weird). I really love his design and his smug personality in NL/NH really accentuates it. He's just so precious!! <33
I also really love Filbert, he's been in all my towns since he moved into my City Folk town in March 2009 so he's a v special boi to me ☺
I have with Marshall. Lucky was always my favorite in previous games and I moved him into my town as well. Found Marshal on an island and invited him just to fill up 3 slots I quickly fell in love with him and he is definitely my favorite. Just don't tell Lucky...lol
