Anyone else hate the island tours?

Just do the Elite Scavenger Tour. It's the fastest way to get medals, and each tour takes about 2 minutes after you've learned the names of the furniture pieces that appear in the tour.

balloon shooting or whatever its called is basically the greatest. if u get to elite watch out for the pitfalls, but its so easy to make tons of medals off of it.
the only ones i really hates are the ones where u have to catch bugs or fish or dive for animals. its tedious and annoying.

The Tuna Kahuna tour can give you a good amount of medals. But i agree, it can get a bit tedious.

I personally like Tuna Kahuna because I like fishing. But I haven't really tried the other tours because I'm only looking for Tuna Kahuna when I go to the Island. I leave if Lelani doesn't have it. haha!

It sucks that you have to do 3-4 tours just to get one piece of furniture. Most of the tours are bad for getting medals so you usually have to do one tour several times in a row to get enough medals. For the next AC game, there should either be more good tours for getting medals or the items should be cheaper to buy.

I love playing island tours on my own and with other people, even when i'm grinding for medals I enjoy playing them. I think it depends on what tour you get personally, because I really enjoy the balloon tour and it's super easy for me personally. I find it so relaxing because I know I can put minimal effort into playing it, since it doesn't require much skill to shoot down balloons. Something about popping balloons is just satisfying to me for some reason. I think having to earn the medals is what makes the island different and challenging. If they were just handed to you, I don't think I'd feel like I achieved anything. I can tell you now, that i'd rather you'd earn bells the medal system way, then the current way it is. I absolutely hate bug catching and fishing if i'm honest. It's such a pain sometimes..

Shooting down the balloons doesn't require much skill; avoiding the pitfalls takes skill.

i dont really hate them but i find them a chore. i like playing tours with others tho, i mean, what else is there to do other than tours?

Island Games are fun when playing with friends, but on you're own it's really boring. Me and my friend love to play that labyrinth tour, because we get a lot of laughs out of it. But when I play it by myself it's just boring and stressful.

A few of them are fun but do get old pretty quickly. Elite Scavenger is pretty much the best one hands down for getting a lot of medals quickly.

They're okay.... But it's only worth it once you rack up enough metals for items. Ugh, it took me soooo long just to get mermaid furniture.... After that, I kinda stopped playing tours. lol

They're definitely better when you aren't in a situation where you feel forced to play. Playing with my friends vs by myself is a landslide difference.

Yes, you're not alone. When I'm with friends, it's tolerable, since I'm not the only one slaving over to collect medals, but when I'm with others on the island it's hard since most flick the switch or error on me, or don't play, and doing tours alone is super boring and tedious.

Playing with people on Club Tortimer usually sucks as they either just stand there or don't know what the hell to do. But competing with people on this forum who are actually good for those bonus medals is fun.

I almost never play them unless I'm with a friend :p

the only reason I ever go to the island by myself is to catch a bunch of high-value bugs and fish to sell back in town lol
