anyone else get back villagers they had as a kid?

i've had bob in every game and i got back jeremiah and daisy who i loved when i played wild world. they feel like old friends! who have you invited back from the old games?

I made sure to purchase Cleo's amiibo card and made sure she has been in every town of mine since she was added back in with the Welcome Amiibo update. My very young self loved her and looked up to her when I played animal crossing on the game cube. I had other characters i also likes from the older games but Cleo is the only one what was cut out, out of my child hood favorites at least. I also liked Portia and Mathilda way back then.

I invited Static with his amiibo card, he was one of my favorite villagers in the game cube version of animal crossing. I also invited Pecan who was a favorite too. I also have her amiibo card. I made sure to get their amiibo cards when I could because I knew I'd want them on my island with me!
