Anyone else feel bad when they let someone move?

If it's a villager I didn't necessarily want to get rid of, yes I do feel a bit bad. But if it's a villager I just despise, ruined my landscaping, and/or I don't want them, then no. Speaking of that I finallllyyyy just got rid of Paula after like a year. Took forever, but thank goodness!

If I don't like the villager then I'm okay with letting them I don't feel sad. If it is a cute villager but not a dreamy then I feel sad.

I always feel bad when I see my villagers in boxes :c
Especially the crankies,
they are worried about how you will do without them :c
Sometimes their reason for leaving makes me feel bad for wanting them to stay though.
Especially when they say they know you will understand :c

even if i really want the villager to move, yes, i do feel guilty. especially in the days leading up to their move when they keep mentioning how much they'll miss everyone ;o;

YES. Even if they're my least favourite villager, I still feel crummy after I let them go. Especially with that sad lil dialogue they give you D:

About two months ago, I let my last original villager move. I have a system were if they ask to move, I'll let them, but I'll ask them everyday, and sometimes they change there minds. Eventually, Opal didn't change her mind...

But one day, I'll see her on main street!

I feel guilty too XD but I had no idea Mint was a snooty... she's in my town and I can't wait to get rid of her, I got her from a friend's void lol

I feel total remorse when I let some villagers leave, like Eugene. Some I couldn't give a darn about, like Deli.

Also, Bonbon is one of my lower-tier dreamies. If I get Punchy and Scoot, and I have one more spot, I'll save it for her. Therefore, Lolly and her catchphrase can live together. Perfect plan!

I do depending on who it is who is leaving.
To be honest it's taken me so long to try and get a really permanent set of villagers so I can sort my town properly.
I have so many dream villagers that I would like to experience and my second town I decided to use for cycling so unless I get another for a second town I have to occasionally let original dreamies go for new ones :(
So far I feel I've made good decisions, honestly haven't been too fussed when somebody has left but just now I am looking for Marshal and getting a space ready and it's so difficult letting go of one of my smugs :( there's really no other option though, despite having 4 lazy villagers. And I always wanted Marshal...
I so wish we could have more villager spaces :(

I did in 2013, but now that I've had the same 10 for over 2 years, there's no way I'm letting anyone else move!!

I felt bad when I let Tank and Pecan leave my town, since they had been there since the beginning, but letting go of the rest of the villagers I got rid of didn't make me feel bad at all.

Oh, yeah...I recently stopped Bluebear from leaving, even though it was part of my plan to get my Lolly back, but as soon as she said, "I have to pack up, but whenever I think about it, I get so...well, sad!" I just knew I couldn't let her go.

And in my newest town, Benjamin was one of my starting villagers and he pinged to move and when I talked to him a couple days later, he gave me pretty much the same speech, so...keeping him too.

How does this game make me so attached to little pixelated animals???

Depends on who it is. I JUST got Peck to move after MONTHS of trying to get him out, and I was ecstatic to see him go, haha.

I feel super guilty unless it's a villager I just really hate (very rare). It's surprising how some villagers can really grow on you though. I really didn't like Vladimir, a resident of my original town. I was hoping that he would move for the longest time then I walked in on the little guy one day when he was sick. I'll be darned if that bugger didn't tug on my heart strings at that moment. I knew he was still going to be set free one day, but it was harder than I imagined.

I also recently told Vic he was free to go. His house isn't in an ideal spot, and he's not a dreamie, but I still felt so bad telling him to go. Then he pinged me again and said he wasn't sure. Crushed my heart to tell him to go again XD. I'm not sure if villagers ping you a second time before they go, but I might crack and ask him to stay if he does. Sigh.

Yes, especially if they ended up moving to a friend's town by accident and I talk to them again alll the questiond they ask about the towb folks and seeing them again makes me remember the past cx

Yassss I ALWAYS feel guilty even if I don't like the villager.. I just feel really bad, especially when I get their letter the next day :(

yes!
i felt so so guilty recently too when i agreed for Portia to move ~
i mean, she's not my favourite by any means, but when i talked to her + i had the option to persuade her to stay i went ahead with it because she's pretty cute imo ; o ;

I always feel absolutely terrible. But at the same time, they ask to leave. I'm practicing to get better at letting them go though! With my new town I'm trying to let them go more easily if they ask. But for my favourites I am needing a really good story of why they are leaving xD But I still feel really bad. Especially when they hang their head down sadly that I'm letting them leave :(

When I let Gwen go, after she moved she sent me a letter with her pic, telling me how much she will miss me cause I was her best friend. Yes, I felt really bad :( and still feel sad when I walk to the spot where her house used to be... I put a playground there now. I had to let her go though, or I would never had space for my fav villagers

Joey said he wanted to move a few days after he moved into my old town, and I didn't hesitate for even a split second to just let him l e a v e. Same with Rocket the Uchi Gorilla, I just let her go without even another word.
