Anyone catch a fly/ant??

Anyone happen to catch a fly or ant yet? I read that you can catch them on trash items, so I’m wondering which ones that would be, since I haven’t seen any on the can or boot.

I caught a fly on trash. I assume the ants will show up on rotten turnips like they did in NL.

i caught a fly on trash - i think ants will only appear for rotten fruit/turnips, however

Droop a boot, tire, or can on the ground after catching it, and the next day, you should be able to catch a fly. Normal fruit doesn't rot, so you'll have to hold on to a turnip for a week, let it rot, then throw it outside. The ants go nuts for rotten turnips.
