Anybody know how to get Lottie to move into ACNL? :/

Hey all. I have a dilema. How do you get Lottie to move in from HDD to ACNL? I have a pal who has HHD and can't figure it out. Thanks!

did she complete all this today? i'll just explain what i did. I went to the title screen and uploaded my save. then i played the game for a while and got my secret storage room and payed off the loan. Then i TT'd to the next day and lottie was in Nooks homes. I hope this helps

When you say "move in" do you mean as a villager or to show up as NPC in Nook's homes?

The former isn't possible. You can get her to visit in her RV if you scan her figure (not her card, that just gives you her picture item), but she won't move in.

To get her to show up in Nook's homes, you need to buy (but not pay off) the secret storeroom and wait a day for it to be installed. When you go into Nooks, he'll give you the loan and then Lottie will take you on the seminar.

e: To be clear you do not need to do the HHD connection for either of these. the HHD link up only gives you the Nook's Homes model and catalog access to all of the Giant items from HHD.
