Anybody else wish there was a better way of getting seasonal DIYS

My problem is I have a ton of flowers in my town so its difficult to find a spot to shoot down the balloon, and I don't generally have the patience to wait for the balloon to get to an appropriate spot, so I don't bother. I do agree with what others have said though about villager crafting and bottles, I do actually have the patience required to do those two as I find them a lot less frustrating!

as most people are saying, i also really want them to work more like the spooky diys.. since they only come in balloons, i get really scared when the balloon falls in the water. my brain freaks out and says "what if it was a mush diy??" i don't know if that's just me though. they were part of the reason i was so excited for autumn and i'm also impatient, i just need all of them nowww hhh

It is so tedious having to wait and shoot at balloons for the fall diy's. I ended up just buying them.

I had to do this for the last bit because work hours from covid give me little breathing space for time off. And the time I do have off I don't want to spend trying to get DIY from balloons. Especially when I keep getting money or some material I don't need more of.

I feel it works fine. I don't actively hunt for balloons and I already have five of the mush DIYs.

I've gotten only two mushroom DIYs and three dupes of one of them.
Could they at least make it so you can't get dupes before you've gotten one of each of the DIYs. It's already so tedious...

I've just had to personally accept that I will most likely have to wait until next year to finish getting all of the Fall DIYs. I was able to get all the spring sakura ones and summer shell ones, but there are so many fall ones and I'm having such bad luck...​

I have a dupe as well! I literally spent all day balloon hunting and only got 1 recipe. I was so excited and then I realized it was a dupe. I ended up rage quitting for the day.

Yes, I hate the balloon system. I went 2 hours of popping balloons without a single DIY. It should have been given through villager crafting like the Halloween DIY or they could at least have set the rng of getting DIY which you haven’t learned much higher. Now it’s only 15% whereas IMO it should be like 60% or more.

I don't mind it, I've managed to get all the seasonal DIYs within the first few days each time. I do agree that villager crafting ought to be included each time though.

I rarely pop balloons as I have the sound down so low. Just got the one DIY from Isabelle.

I found getting DIYs for the past seasonal events to be so much easier than the mush items right now! I've popped so many balloons but haven't gotten a single recipe, whereas in the past I'd get new recipes and/or duplicates all the time. Like others I also wish we could get these seasonal DIYs from villagers too (like the spooky set)
