Anybody else starting to not like their island name

Honestly I wish we could change our island names. Mine is called "Blush Bay" and its incorrect for so many reasons. First off my islands native fruit is oranges and secondly my theme has little to no pink. I'm going for a European white full of statues vibe.

Anybody else?

Yup, I feel you on this front. I'm not sure what I was thinking upon creating my island (I wasn't, my brain froze, and I'm just really bad at naming things in general ). Personally, it's not the end of the world for me (i.e. not worth resetting my island for), so I'll live with it.

Same. I haven't restarted my island because I really wanted to play NH for terraforming so... Im not restarting to unlock terraforming again.

Kinda. I named mine Isolation as corona isolation had just started here when the game arrived. At the time I thought it wouldn't be a bad name, and it's not the worst, but it's really bland I suppose. I have always been awful at thinking up names for my AC towns

Honestly I keyboard slammed Xanthye so I'm not against changing it but suck at names for most things.

kinda wish it was an option at resident services. like customizing resident services would be, haha.

I still like my island's name, though I suppose it could be better. Destiny was kinda nostalgic for me because that's what I named my Tomodachi Life island several years ago. I dunno, it just sounded nice at the time. Seeing everyone else's cool names has made me second guess my choice but I don't dislike mine or anything.

I feel ya, my island is named M.A.G.I.C. but it's not a magical theme, its a theme based off of the 4 seasons.

I have no right to complain then -- I took < 5 minutes because I was just excited to start playing (first AC game).

I’m good with mine, but I definetly get the struggle. When I was playing new leaf, I didn’t like my characters name or island name, but I was too far in to change. Since new leaf I’ve been contemplating island names and character name I would not regret. So it took a really long time to decide, but I think I’m good for now

I liked my island name at first but later on I just was neutral to the name.

Nope, because I already had a name in mind that I would be content with. As for your issue, there's nothing wrong with your island's name. It also doesn't matter if your island fruit is an orange. You could still decorate the heck out of your island with a lot of pink stuff. Plus, the name of your island isn't a bad one, so there is that. It would be cool if we could rename our island just as simply as changing our title. Maybe if we complain enough, Nintendo will make it happen.

I like my island name its punny. I don't have a theme so a neutral theme works well.

I still love my primary island's name: Vylbrand. I picked it out a good six months in advance. It's both a reference to my favourite game and makes me think of a song by my favourite band.

My second island name bugs me and I'm thinking of resetting. I chose that one on a whim.
