I've been thinking of doing some amiibo villager giveaways so I've been wondering if the glitch issue still persists for forced amiibos.
I recall reading somewhere that the issue was no longer experienced but would like to double-check.

As far as I know, it's still in the game. Which sucks because I wanna sell Zucker : p

The glitches thread in nook trading seems to suggest that the glitch is not only there but also happens to non amiibo villager adoptions.

So is it not safe to adopt villagers period?
Someone has been holding onto Mac for me but now I'm scared that if I adopt him, my town will glitch.
I suppose I'll just tell them to let him go and go on a few Island excursions instead.

Was Mac forced out, or is he moving on his own?

Hoping this glitch is resolved soon, I'd like to give some villagers away (for free), and someday, Raymond too when his amiibo is released.

It’s not safe to visit towns. Period. Friend visited my town to hang out. Picked up 2 villagers from my void who are now glitched. He has no amiibos to kick them out with.

I read on reddit that it was fixed in 1.1.2 I've given away villagers and sold villagers that were forced out via amiibo with no issues
