I love this game!
Whats your favourite game? Mine has to be on the ps1 Gateway to glimmer :D

Spyro was the first PS game I ever beat (also it's the only Spyro game I actually completed.) I remember my dad got it for me cause I'm slightly obsessed with dragons. Problem was he didn't get me a memory card so my PlayStation stayed on for like a month. The day after I finished that game the power went out. Lolz

I did buy The Legend of Spyro A New Beginning because of Elijah Wood, David Spade and Phil LaMarr in the voice cast... But I never got around to actually playing it.

I've always been curious about Skylanders.... Maybe one day.

Oh no! i've still got all my memory cards from when i was a kid xD
My other half got skylanders and personally i didn't like it, i expected too much of it, i thought it would be like Spyro.

One of the games of my childhood  I remember loving the spyro game I had for by GBA advance~ ^^

Lol it was a miracle my mom didn't notice cause she would've shut the system off. Luckily I got a memory card during a Christmas.

Oh and, is that yer pink controller in the picture? Cause that's really cute. XD

I've only seen the demos for Skylanders (and the figures in the store) an ex coworker of mine seemed to be be really into it, but he didn't really give a description of what it was outside of "you can buy these figures" lol I haven't investigated it much but I have a feeling like it might not be what I think it is.

I liked the PS1 ones and the GBA ones (except a new beginning, it was crap). After that they failed so hard (yes I tried some of the later ones)

I've only finished Spyro the Dragon and Ripto's Rage, but I like A Hero's Tail out of all of them because of the extra powers and it had the best overworld IMO.

I played the Isominac trilogy on the PS1.

A Hero's Tail is the best out of all of them...kinda like Crash Bandicoot with the third game being my favorite in the series.

I've been playing the console games from Year of the Dragon to Dawn of the Dragon- and to be honest, if I had to pick a favourite, I would definitely say a Hero's Tail. It kind of reminds me of the collectathons of old Rare games with all the Dragon Eggs, Light Gems, Dark Gems and all that sort, and I love it to pieces for that. It's a pity my GameCube controller's kind of defunct now, though, because I've wanted to do another playthrough for quite a while now.

I played the shiz out of spyro when I was a kid! They were the first games I ever 100% beat and I blame them for my love of collecting all the gems/coins/collectibles in games today. I had every game that came out except for the ones that came out on xbox 360. I loved Year of the Dragon the most, especially the last homeworld because it was so pretty.

The worst ones in my opinion were the New Beginning series. I mean I liked how it looked and the story (I did happen to watch let's plays) but the playstyle and constant barrage of enemies just wasn't my thing.

I did. They were so much fun! It took me a long time to 100%, especially the 3rd sequel. The Yeti race in super bonus round, I had to do a cheat for that and I still couldn't win, I did 3 years ago.

I really wanted to see what was behind the light gem gate in world 3 in Hero's Tail before the release date of New Leaf. So I tried so hard to get the exact amount of light gems to enter inside the light gem gate, and I did and it was one of my greatest achievements in any game. I wanted to see what was behind in person when I played that spyro game for the first time. (When I said "In person" it meant I saw it on a video")

Yeah! I love the Spyro the Dragon series!
I have Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer and Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon all in their original picture disc format unlike the platinum discs.
I have also re-purchased the above games on PlayStation Store so I can play them on my Sony PlayStation 3 at home because it is the 60GB console that can run all games and on my Sony PlayStation Vita so I could play them on the go.

You, my friend get all my cookies today. Year of the Dragon was pretty much my PS1 childhood, I was so sad when we got rid of it. I had it at some later point but never got the chance to fully get into it again.

Yeah, that was one of the last GBA games I got and I did not like the side-scrolling aspect to it.

Not owning a Playstation, I only played the Spyro GBA spinoffs. I really enjoyed them, although I understand some people didn't. I played all of the Spyro games released for the GBA and the DS (although I did not enjoy the DS one as much) and I also played Enter the Dragonfly for the GC, although just the first few levels.

I also played the Crash Bandicoot crossover. I think I had the purple version, and my brother had the orange one. Those were strange.

Speaking of Spyro, what the hell happened to him??? He looks hella ugly in skylanders.

I think Nintendo need to merge with Sony or Insomniac games or whoever owns Spyro the Dragon now and co-operate to make a Spyro amiibo. :)
