I have like ran out of animes to watch apart from the ones that are currently airing, does anyone have any recommendations of anything. I do generally prefer actions so if you could name a few it'd be a real big help

Bleach is good. All the episodes are dub'd on youtube too.
Uhm, Queen's Blade is good, but it's like a chicks action thing. Plus I've only seen the first season. :/

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood if you haven't already. All 64 of the subbed episodes are available on YouTube. If you prefer dubbed animes, I'm sure there are some sites that have the released dubbed episodes out there somewhere.

Code Geass is only a couple years old, and it was awesome! 2 seasons of 25 episodes each. Great story, characters, and decent action for you, too.
