Any Good Tips for Catching Tarantulas/Scorpions?

This is not really related to tips for catching them, but I've mistaken Olivia's tail for a scorpion several times when she's behind a tree.

Same but it was Daisy net. She was walking near flowers and I saw red.
Also the villager popping up freak me out more than the tarantula and scorpions.
