I know this isn't New Leaf, but back when the Wi-Fi servers were still up for the DS and Wii, a lot of people abused 'seeds' in Wild World. Now I've never played Wild World but I have seen videos of it and people mentioning how much of a disaster the mutliplayer was. These hackers would plant 'seeds' in other players' towns and those 'seeds' would turn into buildings. It sounds cool at first until the hackers decide to fill the town with 'seeds' to the point where either the player is stuck, the game slows down really badly or the game crashes. If the game crashes then it will crash every time on the title screen, resulting in the game becoming bricked. I've even heard that some people had their entire DS bricked due to this. Thank goodness 'seeds' were removed in City Folk/Let's Go to the City and New Leaf.
