Any ARK: Survival Evolved fans out there?

I have been waiting over a year to get this game on the PS4. The game first came out in June 2015 on steam and in that month I found the game on there and I was like, "OH MY GOSH!!! THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER!!" It has everything I have ever dreamed about in a game, free-roam, survival game and it has dinosaurs. DINOSAURS!!

Anyway I'm still waiting for the final release date on PS4 in December, Hopefully. Fingers cross.

This thread is to talk about anything and everything about ARK, how good it is, funny adventures, screenshots, etc.

I own it on the Xbox One and it's certainly... interesting. The splitscreen isn't that good and you can't bring your progress online to public servers. I also joined a public server once and there was severe lag and half naked bodies lying everywhere I was so confused. I'm sure it's really fun once you get father into it, but I suck at survival games.

Man I haven't played that game in so long :O I played it on pc while it was still in development. I had a huge pack of dinosaurs all named after food and a super badass mountain base with tons of supplies. I kinda miss it.

I had an army of compies, too. I loved how they could ride on your shoulder :3

I played the trial on xb1 over the weekend and will probably buy it later this week! BF & I both played for an hour and were kind of addicted just off that, haha. I remember one of my uncles constantly posting about it on FB and I got so tired of seeing it all the time, so I never looked into it. Recently a co-worker of my bf mentioned it, so my bf asked if I had heard of it, which is when I decided to finally check it out.

I spent like 40 out of 60 minutes of my trial dying over and over because apparently I am dumb, and that is how long it took me to figure out to gather stuff. Ooooooops >.< Seriously though, some kind of tutorial would've been SO helpful, haha. Now that I know what to do, I am really looking forward to getting the full version and sinking more time into it!

Oh my little nephew is a bit obsessed with wanting to play this game. I hadn't really heard of it before then, he seems to always be watching YouTube videos about it.
He's been allowed to play it once up until now, with supervision as we weren't really sure about what the games involves. From what I've seen it looks pretty good. I like the whole dinosaur method of travel/taming them. I'm not so crazy about the map but the graphics are really good, in my opinion. Some of the best landscapes I've seen on a video game
