I think that there should be a group made for TBT vets, so the more mature members aren't bombarded with Noobs.

Anyone else agree?

I don't think it would be a good idea. It would only create a rift between older and newer members similar to the Pizza Gang of the past.

I've read many guides on what make an online community successful, and suggestions from many people on that matter as well. And this is exactly what causes the downfall of a community. It frightens new members away, and then the old members eventually stop logging in (It has to happen at some point), and then either the website is abandoned or overrun by "noobs". The point of an online community is for all members to get along, not pointless separation.

No, this is a bad idea.

Leave this topic now before it becomes a vast, never ending spiral of chaos and arguing.

Are you calling me a noob because I joined in September?

How classy.
Not really a noob, more of a newb.
Is there a significant difference?
Actually, yes.

But you are a mixture of the two.
In that case, what is the difference?

...Also, how do us 'noobs' and 'newbs' know that you aren't one?

Newb-new.
Noob-new and stupid.

Right?D:
Newb: New
Noob: ******** or new at life.
You could have 10,000 Posts and still be a noob.

AHEM

I joined today, I don't think just because someone's new means that there any less different or under-educated then the rest of us. Equality is most important. But there's always those who fail to achieve the sense of belonging to others, and it's them that get separated from people, which is basically what your doing right now. Just my opinion.

Heh, it's The Boat all over again. (The Boat: AXA Group that was eventually banned from the forums and created a new forum and are famous for being a bunch of idiots.)

Sure.

Everyone before the City Folk flood is in. Everyone else is out. :>
*agrees*

But really though, I think this could be a good idea, as long as the members of the group didn't act like they were superior. After all, there's a group just for people who came here from YouTube. Is that any different? Or the EPIC.

I say we petition for one.
