Another Quick Question about Amiibo

I have an Amiibo card, and invited Lolly to my island.

If my friend (whom I cannot meet, because quarantine) also wants Lolly, is it possible for me to put Lolly in boxes, have my friend adopt Lolly, and then use my Amiibo card to re-invite a new Lolly?

yes, absolutely! there isn't a villager cycle like there was back in new leaf, so you can just re-invite lolly straight after she has went to your friends island! of yourse you need to complete her 3 requests again.
