Another "Im considering resetting but im just not sure" thread (solved)

So I've got my 1st island, Mochi, which I'm considering resetting but im not 100 percent sure. I hate my island name it doesn't fit my island. And resident services is way too close to the entrance. I'm getting super bored of my island now. Bored of the game.


But I've put around 500 hours into my island, and ive got 5 stars and I love all my villagers so much. I've got so many bells, caught so many bugs and fish and completed my fossil area. I also have a ton of diys. I'd hate to throw it all away but at the same time.. Idk..

Please help

It's seems like you have a lot you want to keep... If you really want to reset, I'd recommend getting someone to hold your villagers and belongings for you. You can move to a new island, but still have your stuff. Feel free to use my island to unload, if you decide you want to!

I don't know if I want my villagers to be held or not.. I want to keep them but at the same time I want fresh faces so like.. augh

I always want to jump into these threads and say, "Don't reset!" but then I hesitate because... if you like the beginning of the game, when you've got a huge task list and lots of goals and everything is a bit of a struggle, then go ahead and repeat the beginning of the game. Why not stick to the phase that you enjoy most?

I’m in the same boat as you. Logged 600 hours and bored. Island is not as good as I would want it to look because the resident services is too close to the airport, the airport is green, etc. It would take so long to raze everything to the ground and rebuild. But then again I don’t want to have to redo the museum, art gallery, etc... Tbh think I’m gonna just give the game a break and then come back to it later

Diva and Sprocket, Sprocket is cool and unpopular opinion but I really like Diva ;P
