Sorry, I know there are several threads like this and I've read them.

Here's the deal: I have an opportunity to buy another copy for $10. I have the digital copy that came on my system, I don't have a physical copy. I would use this copy to try out different town ideas, restart when I felt like it, and cycle / possible trade dreamies to people if I got them. My bf has a 3ds too, so I could easily use his to give myself my own dreamies or items.

Ahhh but ya know, spending real money on a game that I already have seems sort of silly... What would you do? Those of you that have 2 copies, are you glad you got another?

i feel so lame now because i've got 2 copies but they're still going for around $50 in australia ;;;

i would personally recommend getting a second copy (especially for that price)!! it's fun to do things differently to your first town, meet new villagers and organise your town with a better idea of what could happen (i just dumped my pwps where there was space and my coffee shop location is terrible!!)

i say go for it! B)

I really want a 2nd copy also, but it seems like a waste of money to me. :( But I also really want to cycle villagers.... but $10 seems like a good deal if you really wanted it. I might hold off on getting a 2nd copy because it would mean investing more time in the game, and I'm already spending a lot of time in my one town. So I guess really the only two cons of getting a 2nd copy would be the money and the extra time spent with a 2nd town.

$10 is an amazing deal. Just think about it: it's about even with/a bit less than what you would spend to eat out at a cheap restaurant. Once. You would have the game forever. And if you decide to resell it? They're going for $25-$30 on Ebay like crazy.

I have 3 towns and love running them all~

i paid full price for my second copy and i dont regret it at all! if anything though i think having a 2nd town makes it more addicting. i bought the game digitally when it came out then slowly lost interest, but then being able to cycle in villagers on my second town made me want to play again because i got all the villagers i wanted, which would then motivate me to check up on my digital copy more since it was actually fun with the villagers i liked xD i'd say go for it! $10 is a great price and if you ever regret it you could resell the physical copy online again, possibly even for more than you paid so you wouldn't even lose money.

You would never find a copy of the game for $10 in New Zealand.
They sell for around $80, $60 if you get them online...
I would buy another copy :)
To achieve my Dreamies then start cycling to help other people get their Dreamies <3

But then again you'd need the time and patience to cycle.
As well as keeping two towns happy and time-consuming haha

I say go for it, especially at that price! I bought a second copy and I most definitely do not regret it. :P

Thanks guys! You're right, hard to pass for just $10, thinking of it like paying the price for a meal for something I would have forever is really convincing :) I'm gonna do it!

I find full price to be fine for me. I've never played a game as much as I've played this one. I got my cartridge on an Amazon sale for $24, and I had no problem paying full for my digital copy.
