Another Bug-Off?

Apparently there's another one on the 25th. I thought it was once a season? Did they make the Bug Off and Fish Tourny monthly now?

I got the notice too! Seems too soon after the last one. Especially since many people finished and the prizes are the same!

the fish tourn is once a season. the bug off is once a month from june to sept.

I think that only the fishing tourney is once per season and the bug offs start in June and last all Summer and early Autumn.

If you talk to Flick at the end of the bug off, he says he'll be here next month! So I was personally expecting this ^^ Bug off sort of makes sense as a summer event, if you think about it. summer is when most of the bugs are out and about!

I'm guessing the bug-offs are all in summer because that's when there are the most bugs available.

Here are the Northern Hemisphere dates:

June 27th
July 25th
August 22nd
September 26th

Bug offs like others have said are a summer thing, so each summer month has one.
I'm hoping to get more of those artisanal bug cages though. I only managed to get one last time around.
