The most annoying moment when making my town more beautiful through Public Work Projects...
A few days ago, I created a bridge in a u-shaped bump surrounded by a river.
The day after that, a fountain was built between the two bridges...
The next day, I realised that... The bridge was not symmetrical to the bridge directly across it!
I decided to demolish the bridge.
Today, when I attempted to rebuild the bridge, it happens that it was "too close" to the fountain, despite having 4 units of extra space.
SO. I HAD TO DEMOLISH THE FOUNTAIN, AND REBUILD THE BRIDGE FIRST.

A weeks worth of time just to build 2 PWPs...
And a load of bells wasted.

The stupid thing is that, I know that it's possible for a fountain to be constructed with the bridges, because it worked when the bridge was 1 unit lower. But apparently, it doesn't work when the fountain is already there, and the bridge is to be placed after.

I can't leave the bridges uneven because I had saplings planted and it'll be a bother to remove them to get new ones (medals take ages).

tl;dr: Stupid space restrictions

What's one of your annoying PWP moments?

I had a situation similar to yours. I built the campsite on one side of the river (it was my first PWP), and much later I decided to build a bridge in that spot. A villager moved in on the other side of the river, directly across the bridge, opposite to the campsite. I had to move the bridge up just a little bit due to design/space issues, so I already knew I was going to need to demolish it. Except now that the villager had moved in there I couldn't rebuild it until he moved out, which took FOREVER, by the way. So I had to run all the way up the river every time I wanted to cross to the other side which was extremely annoying.

I also hate how benches can only face forward and not sideways, same with all the other PWPs that can be used as beds/seats.

I always have extreme trouble getting things to be exactly symmetrical (like street lights across from each other) because Isabelle says it's too close to something or puts it in the wrong spot 50 times before i can get it right.

I had this happen to my left most bridge. I was plot resetting for pekoe and the week after I finally got all the bridge requests, so I demolished the one closest to her house. I didn't realize I needed about a 4 space buffer around the bridge and so I had to rebuild and landscape everything which took a lot of bells to make perfect again. Ugh spacing for bridges probably suck the most since it doesn't make sense at all.

I had isabelles PWP rant when placing my flower clock. I had enough room between my orchard and my polic station, but she kept saying random things like

"Too close to a rock!"
Move an inch
"Too close to the police station"
Another inch
"Too close to villager home"
Down half an inch
"Too close to plaza"

LIKE OMG ISABELLE WHAT IS IT NEAR MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

Oh man... That happens to me when I plot reset, since I keep my "housing area" the same

That seems even more annoying than my situation. It's good that's over with!

YES! I agree with the benches thing.
I wanted a bench to face the cliff sideways, but couldn't, so oh well...
Being able to rotate PWPs would be great
