Ankha on mystery tour - to invite or not?

I’ve been Island hopping for about 2 hours now mainly trying to find Sherb or a good cranky villager as I don’t have one and I’ve just run into Ankha. I’ve never had her before but I like her aesthetic. My thing is I already have 2 snooties who I love (snooty is my fave personality anyways so not a big deal) but then I’ll need to get a cranky which I’ll use the campsite method for to force out my second smug who I don’t want. But I really want Sherb so having 3 snooties and one of everything else will leave Sherb out for me (getting rid of my other lazy Prince is not an option, he is my favourite villager). So basically should I get her or not? I need helpppp

It may sound ignorant, but in these cases I just say follow your heart.

I see so much people stressing out about their dreamie list. It's ok if you end up changing things down the line, it's ok if you experiment a little and don't have your dreamie list ready for a long time. These characters won't dissappear, you will be able to get them eventually! c:

Definitely take Ankha imo. Whenever she wants to move out (assuming you don't TT) you'll be able to trade her for Sherb, or anyone you want. Either that or sell her for tickets.

If you *only* want to find your dreamies on an island or in the campsite, and not trade for them, then maybe it's a pass.

Seeing as you don't mind having her, you could always just hold on to her for now and then trade her off later. Just like balloonfight put, you can aways trade for tickets or even sherb himself in the future

Get her! I have Sherb, and I'd be very willing to trade him for Ankha, and I bet that I'm not the only person willing to do that.
Of course, I have no idea when he'd move out. I'm not at 10 villagers yet orz

I'd personally hold onto her and trade for Sherb later on. There's no guarantee you'll find him island-hopping. Though this could backfire if you get attached to her - I was planning on getting rid of Judy eventually, but now I love her and need to find another villager to replace instead

Thank you everyone for the advice! I decided to get her and hope I won’t grow to attached but knowing that she’s a snooty and a very aesthetically nice villager I probably will

I was looking forward to some island hopping when one of my villagers finally asked to leave and then I found ankha on the first island I went to! I couldn't leave her behind either - she's very cool. I'd love to trade her for Sherb one day but I only really play online with people I know.
