Animated avatars?

I saw the avatar animation in the shop and bought it a long time ago. I still see it in the shop and it's in my inventory. Although, animated avatars are not allowed? Why is that?

what?? they are allowed, you just need the shop add-on to use it. it should be ticked active + the avatar you are using should fit the parameters listed there for an animated avatar?

Huh...seems that gifs of a certain size cannot be animated for some reason...

Like I said, there are parameters for it
1) max size 100x100 (unless you have avatar width extension = 150x100)
2) 253.9kb or less
