Anyways, I have an AC fanfic in the TBT Writers Guild called The Hidden Island. My theory is that humans and animals lived on the island of Animal Crossing in peace. But one day, the humans and animals had a war over who was greater. The animals won, banishing humans from the island, and created the Bermuda Triangle to keep them out. However, the island was greatly damaged, so the animals lived along coasts in rural villages separated by walls. The capital was the only city around, so they called it The City. It became the central shopping center and government HQ. Somehow, the mayor/kid loses his memory and lands on the island, living in one of these villages.
