I have one fossil left to complete the exhibit in my museum and a few weeks ago, I got it and sold it because according to my notes, I already had it. Now I am waiting to get it again and it's pissing me off.

I have an infinite fruit basket and experimented with it so i took a fruit from it and tried to put it back in, but then the basket disappeared and the one fruit replaced it, I panicked so much, but I reset

All of these screw ups involve the placement of new villagers houses in New Leaf.
1: Marshal (one of the most sought after and expensive villagers on this sight keep in mind) moved into my town. Yay, but he decided it was a great idea to move almost directly in front of my house. He eventually moved to my friends town but that luck is terribly (the house placement) amazing (actually having him move in).

2: Becky the snooty chicken. Now if I thought Marshals house placement was bad Becky's was horrible. I should have been grateful when Marshal moved in because soon after he moved out Becky moved in LITERALLY 2 SPACES IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE! Seriously I was trying to place down my 3 space wide path and it couldn't fit. Becky received an alliterate nickname that I wont post here, but she is officially one of my least favorites.

3: This just happened this week and I'm still ticked about this. A while ago I got my first perfect pear, so logically I planted it in a deserted place so I could start a garden. But... Monique decided to move right onto of my first and ONLY perfect pear tree. Now if she was cute and likable I wouldn't mind as much, but just look her up she is hideous! Ugg... I strongly dislike her and I'm working on having her move out.
Sorry if you like any of the villagers I dislike (Becky and Monique) but these are my opinions based on bad experiences in my game.

When I was an Animal Crossing newbie I reset my town that I had had for several years and had accomplished so much because I thought all towns were the exact same with the exact villagers and layout

I wanted to replace my fairy-tale bridge with a brick bridge so I demolished it and the next day when I tried to build my brick bridge Isabelle said it's too close to a villagers house even though I just had a bridge in that exact same spot. I couldn't find any way to work around it so I had to let one of my favorite dreamies move out.

One time, I had a copy of ACNL and one night, at 1 am, the data got corrupted. I cried for months.
Got it recently again. Bought Marshal for a hefty TBT price. Accidentally forgot to set the time to 5:59 am of the next day and screwed up on his plot resetting. You bet that I was spitting fire. (Luckily he picked a spot in which I was originally going to put my bf's character in, so yay?)

Got it recently again. Bought Marshal for a hefty TBT price. Accidentally forgot to set the time to 5:59 am of the next day and screwed up on his plot resetting. You bet that I was spitting fire. (Luckily he picked a spot in which I was originally going to put my bf's character in, so yay?)

On new year's eve I was waiting up for the countdown (this was in 2014)~ when it got to around 10pm I got super tired so i thought i would time travel to 12:00am 1/1/15 new year's celebrate the fireworks with villagers than time travel back to normal time and go to sleep.
I celebrated New Year's and all that stuff, I saved and quit and set the time back - except when the game loaded weeds were everywhere, villagers had moved out my whole town was trashed - I had accidentally time traveled to 31/12/15, which meant I time-traveled a full year accidentally.
Me being my newbie self I was like "Okay maybe if I time-travel back to the correct date it would go back to normal and this mess would be over"
I travlled back to 2014 and nopeeee the town was not better, it was worse, my villagers were a mess - I lost my favourite villager (Static :c) and my town was trashed
- so I had to restart
Oh and another screw up was when I was completely the fortune cookies - I had one item left and I had bought them for weeks, finallyyyyyyyyy I got it, I was so happy,
And usually when i get something great like that i save and continue because I don't want to accidentally turn off my ds so that's what I went to do and instead of pressing select I pressed the power button and turned off my ds
