Animal Crossing DS-Designing Patterns

Well, after looking at some screenshots and information about Animal Crossing DS, I have figured out that AC DS will use the stylus to design patterns. In my opinion, I think this is a good thing. What do you think?

I think that it would be harder. The stylus isn't exactly as precise as the system in the current AC. In one of the "screenshots" it shows a mushroom pattern being made, but it seems like it was kind of messy-looking.
