I have recently been making a lot of Animal Crossing crafts, such as polymer clay charms/figures, hip bags, pens, etc. I was just wondering if anyone else here does this? If so, what kind of things do you make? If this is the wrong place to post this--I apologize in advance!

I'd love to see them! I guess here or in the museum would be a good place to post about them! Lots of people draw, but you'll find other crafts like plushies and clay charms once in a while :>

My friend went to a cosplay con and someone was selling sling bags that looked like pouches. They had an etsy shop I believe.

I skimmed through the Museum forum briefly, but got the impression it was for people looking to sell or trade their stuff. I could be wrong, but that is why I posted here, since I am not doing either of those things. I am relatively new at working with this medium and wouldn't sell anything to anyone that I didn't feel was 100%. My goal was basically to see if anybody else was as into as I was. It's nice to meet people who do the things you do--I love to draw inspiration from others.

I would be happy to show you what I have done. I will have to PM the links to you, however. I haven't made enough posts to put links up, yet. Or so the message told me. I closed the page before I read how many posts were required, but I don't want to spam just to post links.

i crochet. i've found amigurumi patterns of certain AC villagers that i want to try and make.

The Museum is actually a place where you can show off your stuff. Show us some pictures of your crafts when you get your post count up:) I'll move this thread to the Museum for when you can come back and show us the pictures.

Edit: It has come to my attention that I had said that you couldn't sell things from the museum so let me make this a little more clear:

You can sell drawings/animations for in-game bells in the Museum. If you want to sell things for tbt Bells, it's recommended that you use the TBT Marketplace. One thing that definitely isn't allowed is selling items/drawings/crafts for real money through the Bell Tree.

I'm sorry for the confusion!

SageJ - I used to crochet bracelets when I was younger. It's the only thing I could do. I wish I could do more, but patterns really require skill and patience. I would love to see some of your work!

Kaiaa - Thanks so much!

These are great! I might have to make my own Animal Crossing inspired bag now lol I tried doing clay stuff and...well I'm not an artist. I can't get the clay to stick to itself and my figures always fall apart. It's probably the fact that I'm using air dry craft clay and not polymer clay.
