I've never seen something like this happen, but one of the teachers from the Jr. High I went to (wow, that's been a while) was a convicted felon. And he wasn't a certified teacher, he was a con artist. I never had him as a teacher, but he was just about the most popular teacher at school. Too bad he ruined people's lives just so he could live the good life...
