Let's take a look at how disturbing this thing is.

...

Did I jog your memory on that?

Post why this thing disturbs you, and is the only Pokemon I am OK with calling an "it".

But being disturbed by cuteness is only the best thing.

It's a cat. Thus it is popular. And it is designed to be "cute", which is why skitty and meowth were never so popular.

And by cute, I presume you mean, terrifying beyond all belief?

It's (I'm perfectly content with referring to this thing as an it, unlike all 720 other Pokemon) the Internet's favorite and least favorite Pokemon simultaneously, it's capable of Discord-levels of Reality Warping, and it just won't stop! Not even when a particularly important thing involving Yoshi and 4 others going to the Internet happens!

Yoshi got his nigh-unstoppable powers from said Espurr (it was wearing an amulet that GREATLY amplified its powers). He took the amulet when the thing was down, and when he wore it, he gained a fair bit of psychic energy. Said powers would increase GREATLY over the course of over 45 episodes, even granting him wings (which he'd had before on many previous adventures) when involved in an important battle with a certain 3-man group capable of disguise...

Because Espurr gained SO MUCH notoriety on the Internet, I like to believe that not only is it a part of many computers today, it's also an alternate dimension that changes every time you go there. There's also a location called the Ethernet that seems to only be accesible when your trip to the Internet as a dimension gets interrupted in some way.

Espurr is the cutest scariest Pokemon ever! I personally love it, and don't mind if you bash Espurr as that means more terrifying cuties for me haha! :)

But for real though Espurr is my fave Kalos Pokemon and also my first successfully hatched shiny Pokemon (on purpose anyways, I hatched a shiny Magby by accident once but that's beside the point).

He looks odd... espcially those eyes and the way they stare at you. Otherwise, I never paid attention to him. I couldn';t care any less about him.

You refer to this thing... using MALE pronouns!? If you saw Slender Man, would you call him an it? If you walked up to an egg while on a train track in a volcano, would you say, "Please get this egg out of my way; he is blocking the path."?

Kid, who gives a ****.

Espurr is popular because of its looks. It's cute yet creepy. That's all there is to it.

The dumb stuff you came up with while you were bored is also completely irrelevant. I don't think anyone gives a ****.

Espurr is a saint.
Have you seen it's anime episode?
It's <censored> cute and I teared up a bit, why lie.

Espurr is def top 10 for ya boy.

I don't care, but my twist on it it, the creepy house was on a new dimension called the Internet (notice its popularity there?), the storm was cats and dogs (literally), and Yoshi got his magical psychic powers from the amulet the Espurr was wearing. And the story? The Espurr, instead of being some bullwash like a family heirloom from 200 years ago, had in fact haunted the old lady who shows up at the end for the Internet equivalent of 3 years! Who knows, but it may return...
