I just got my hands on my first ever amiibo cards, but can someone please explain to me if that amiibo card moving villager glitch is still active?? And what actually happens, because I'm kinda scared of using my cards, I'm gonna force some villagers out, and I planned on adopting them away or selling some of them. I've googled a while but I see different answers so I'm confused, someone please help

Haven't seen any issues come up since the patch~ I'd say you should feel relatively confident in trading at this point ^_^

The Amiibo-specific glitch that resulted in a blank name on the sold plot has been fixed for weeks now.

The "Moving Out" glitch which affected all villager adoptions (not just Amiibo) has hopefully been fixed since the last update. There was no specific mention in the patch notes, but there haven't been any reported cases of the glitch afterwards.

There are still a few glitches that remain that affect all campers, not just Amiibo. They affect the island of the campsite, not adoptions of forced move-outs, and aren't as catastrophic as the previous glitches. For example, skipping the "plot sold" day (usually by TTing, but it can also happen if you just don't load the save that day) will result in the camper's house exterior being the same as the house exterior of the previous villager that was forced out. Another glitch can occur if a natural move-out is in boxes on the same day that another villager is in boxes due to being forced out by a camper. One villager will move out the following day, the other may stay in boxes for days on end until further action is taken. This glitch can be fixed by using another camper to force out the stuck villager, which refreshes their move out procedure. I've also seen people having success by having a visitor adopt the stuck villager, which will also complete their move out procedure.

Just be careful not to tt backwards until the moving process is complete or else they might keep the same house interior the previous villager had. I think this is the only "glitch" that is still going on, but it is easily avoidable.

Okay, good to hear its fixed, I didn't own amiibo cards and didnt think I would untill today so I didn't bother checking up on it while it was still not fixed. Thank you for your replies!

I've amiibo in a few since the patch and no issues at all....
