Amiibo cards???

Can someone explain the amiibo cards please, are all amiibo cards the ones you scan for an RV to come into your camp, also what do the amiibo figures do, which card do you scan for someone to move in, sorry if I seem stupid but it?s all confusing thank you

Regular Happy Home Designer cards allow you to move villagers in in an instant, as well as give you regular items. Special NPC cards only have the option of giving you special items. Amiibo figurines can let you have RV's, as well as Welcome amiibo RV cards. Figurines obviously can't be asked to moved in, but villagers with cards can! (Even though you can just ask Wisp for an item too...)

Do you know how many RV cards there are? I keep seeing amiibo cards with the character on the front but I’m not sure if it’s an RV CARD OR NOT

There are 50 RV cards, and 400 Happy Home Designer cards that you can use in New Leaf. I'm not sure exactly how many figurines there are, sorry.

RV cards have a picture of the villager inside an RV on the front. :3 Regular amiibo cards have the villager with no RV. Certain amiibo figures can also be scanned, like Splatoon and Zelda characters, K.K., Reese, Cyrus, the AC human villager, etc.

Hello, here's a list of all the compatible amiibo cards and figures.
Any villager that appears in an RV (Not an NPCs) can be moved into your town, but you'll then be unable to scan in their RV again until they move out.
