Amiibo cards stopped having an negotiate option.

When I bring a villager in using an amiibo card 3 days in a row, craft their items they finally agree to move in and I get this

Since the last update??? I have 10 villagers and I know the process, something seemed to change, nobody believes me .... before it would bring up an option to negotiate with one to kick them out ....

Did you keep asking / hitting A? I’ve moved in villagers via Amiibo since the update

I just amiibo someone in today and it worked fine. After the 3rd craft, resident services tells them the Island is full. The amiibo in animal will then ask if there is someone they should talk to. I selected the animal I want them to replace and bam, done...

I my thumb hurts from hitting A. they agree to move in, say they are going to chat to island services and then they say something like the image. and will just repeat that. tried 3 cards

I'd exit the game, close it out and restart. Sounds like you are stuck in a glitch.

And @raqball I tried to move in Ribbot with the same affect it Will NOT let me negotiate and kick someone out. I spent 3 hours last night testing different things, is there a delay in how often you can move in card villagers? I'll do a full switch Reboot see if that helps, but I wonder if there is some scenerio that causes this, saw a few other people on some youtube videos have trouble all in the last 5-6 days

I've amiibo in 2 or 3 over the last few days. Today I amiibo in Sprocket to take Ribbot's place... It's temp as I wanted to see if I like Sprocket but I'll prob amiibo Ribbot back in next week and boot Sprocket.. Unless Sprocket grows on me...

But yeah, I've amiibo in a few over the past few days with no issues at all..

OMG full reset the switch and brought one in and it worked! thanks @raqball I never shut the switch off!

you tried 3 separate cards? or you scanned the same card three days in a row?

Because you need to scan the same villager card 3 days in a row crafting them a total of 3 items. Then they will agree to move in and ask who to talk to to move out.
