Am I the only one with tons of miles but have nothing to spend them on?

I currently have 60k+ miles. I never island hop or buy nook items unless I really need it. I mean i'm still looking for the zen fence but other than that I just have miles on miles. I need this many in real life so I can travel.

Yeah I was approaching 300,000 before I forced myself to start converting them into nook mile tickets (even though I already had plenty of those as well lol).

I hope they eventually release more nook mile furniture/DIYs/features in the future so I can dump the rest of these. I’d imagine they never planned on us bulking up on them so quickly (thanks quarantine)

I don't think so. You could access the ABD as well as your storage from another person's town. In NH they could at least let you access the actual ABD if not the rest of the shopping system. I hate going to someones island just to remember that i didnt bring any money.

I have about 124k miles right now and I might spend them to buy a few furniture items for my town but that's about it.

I'm getting there at this point, especially when I get all 10 villagers I'm looking for. I do wish there was more to spend these miles on, but soon I'm just gonna be using them to gather materials for my shop. Most I've ever had on me was 30K, however I see this skyrocketing very soon.

Personally I just buy NMT on here with TBT, and I accumalated 40k without trying. I hope they add more practical things to buy in the future.

i grinded for nook miles in hopes of island hopping but the NMT printing process is soooo slow that i'd rather get NMT through trading instead lmao im at 160,000 miles but im just using them to trade for different colored vending machines

I have 85k, and one of my friends gave me at least a couple hundred NMT because of their surplus, so I'm pretty good.

I can buy a lot of lights (except they're BLACK AND NOT WHITE).

i'm really hoping for more nook mile items to redeem. i routinely have 100k+ on hand so i can easily order items and NMT for trades, but otherwise they're kinda useless for me? i use amiibos for villagers. they were much more exciting to accumulate when i was unlocking DIYs and terraforming! i miss that feeling haha.

This so much. I wanted to spend all my NMTs on streetlamps, but I'm not a fan of the brown ones I have on my island... And it's just a hassle to find someone with black and then trade with them because I'm probably going to want at least 60.

Accessing other people's Nook Mile stores on their island would be so nice.

You could cover them into bell voutures if you still have loans to pay off. One ticket = 3,000 bells.

i've just hit 100k+ miles for about the seventh time. i was sitting at over double that the other month before i went villager hunting for several hours.

they should've just kept the same system they had with the island medals in NL, with only the currency being different. so, have the decorations and non-fence DIYs rotate in/out daily with some being rarer than others or costing a lot of miles. as it is, i'm pretty sure only the fences change daily and everything is relatively low priced.

I think I just hit 100k. I should be spending on Street lamps to see but I hate opening the mail and deleting them. I wish I can mass delete my mailbox or just chuck the whole thing into the ocean

I have almost 200,000. Occasionally I redeem them for NMT, but man, is that a pain. I'm trying to gradually build a large amount of NMTs so I can do a villager search. (not that I need anyone, I just want to try) I can totally see why people buy them!
