Am I the only one who...?

Woo keep 'em coming, guys!

I don't have 'dreamies' (bleurgh I even hate the word)
I've always found Merengue creepy because to me it looks like her horn is soaked in blood, like she's just stabbed someone with it O.O

- Never really got why people loved Marshal
- Kicks & Labelle should totally hook up
- I dont hate Isabelle lol

Also, I don't really like to rush things in the game. If I focus too much on getting more bells in less time, I find that I enjoy it a lot less. I've had the game for a year now, and my house still isn't fully upgraded yet, and my town isn't finished yet, and that's fine with me. I don't buy villagers, I'm waiting for my dreamies to come to my town on their own. I do TT, but never more than one day at a time.

Idk, I can definitely see the appeal in getting everything you want in the game as fast as possible, but I don't think it's worth it if I'm going to have less fun in the process. :P

Oooh I agree with this - it seems like if you rush it you're more likely to burn out, and I don't want that to happen so I take it slowly

oh man oh man THIS is right up there along with (IMO) bad game design.

Not to tread on toes; I like some villagers more than others just like anyone else. But... 'dreamies'... I realize it's easier to type out than referring to them as 'dream villagers' every time, but I find both terms pretty cringeworthy. The first time I stumbled onto an ACNL board and saw someone referring to a villager as a dreamy, I was all like dude what who does that.

Like Hallie, I also don't have dreamies. I also kind of hate getting villagers from other people these days, mainly because it annoys me with how often they mention their old towns.

I enjoy the jock personality, its' one of my favorites. It makes me sad that its almost always the first personally to be left out of a dreamy list, and that it just gets so much hate in general. I hate exercise and working out irl, but seeing my scrawny cats and frogs boast to me with their high-pitched voices about their "fabs" is just adorable! <3

Yes. This.

Aha yeah it just makes me cringe!

Also I just don't like the idea of choosing set villagers and trapping them in your town forever - To me, animal crossing is supposed to be an ever changing game and I like the flow of villagers coming and going from your town, life goes on ya know ^.^

i love, love leif. i think he's so cute and if you could date in animal crossing (anyone you wanted), i would choose leif. because leif is life. <3

I don't like how you only see Rover at the bus when creating a new character. Even if it were just at The Roost where you could see him again would be fine. I need my fair dose of Rover. ;-;

YES! It sounds so so dumb, like ridiculous baby talk. I'm really surprised the term took off like it has.

I was reluctant to use the phrase, and still prefer to avoid it. Moreover, it cannot really apply to me, since New Leaf was my first Animal Crossing game, which I only got on Christmas, and it was months later before I ever stumbled onto an AC forum.

Since then, I have only gotten to know a few villagers, so I do not have that 'history' with the many villagers spanning several AC titles.

That said, I have included the term for my signature, since I want to be clear to anybody hosting a giveaway or sale that I am interested enough to give that villager a chance. But I don't have enough attachment to even the villagers I am familiar with to cry if they leave.

I think Shrunk is adorable, and I love his goofy dance.

Never had a dreamy, but Sylvia recently moved in, and she is so cute.

I am a hybrid hoarder.lol

I don't like tiers nor agree with buying or selling villagers.
I'm very jealous of cute little towns >.>

Same, when I first saw the term "dreamies," I was confused lol. Like what does it mean, who uses that term? Found out what it was, oh. Can't you just say wanted villagers? LOL. Oh well. I don't find it too bad, its ok.

So to start off with ... I like random villager house placement

Same here. I may have a problem if one moves too close my house or infront of a building, but at the same time, I don't care? I think random house placement adds charm and it fits my towns theme of 'organic'.

"completed" towns are ridiculous.

Like- I don't want to stop working on things, and if I have a vision for how I want things to be- it's not like I'm just going to stop after that or reset or something. Plus, I like the little bit of extra challenge each day when things aren't perfect, and I'm happy with whatever villagers I get- because I want to experience a bunch of them, not just a few super-popular ones.

On the same note- how can there even BE popular villagers when they all have basically the same personality? :|
