I just feel that for what you get, 2,000 miles is too much for the mystery island tour. Anyone else feel the same

Tbh I feel they're priced about right. Nook miles are fairly easy to accumulate just by playing the game and by doing the daily nook+ tasks. I think if the tickets were cheaper people would have even more accumulated miles with nothing to spend them on

That is a good point

Since I get miles so easily... no.
Even early game I didn't really see them as super expensive.

I just find it more annoying the long dialog and A mashing I need to buy multiples. >.>
i can get miles easily but im not to the point of unlocking terraforming or even having all the essentials bought from the nook station...for some reason, it takes me a while to get the miles back? like, if im saving up for something, it takes me a while

I miss tortimer’s island SO much, especially Kapp’n songs🥺
I've never played new leaf so my only very vague memories of him are from wild world, but he's got a lot of fans on here and so I'm excited to see what they do with his island in NH (assuming it comes back!)

His Island was basically this small area in which summer bugs were always available, and I used to stay up super late to catch bugs and sell them on my island. There was also an option to play different games and ir was just super fun. It would make for great DLC in the future

i mean, i guess i understand how you think since most islands suck (and they updated them to suck even more?? bro) but with the possibility to meet new villagers and adopt them i think the price is fair.

Nowadays, you're better off getting your source of Bells from turnips. I don't like the randomness factor of hopping into an island that may not have the best farming spot for stuff. You only use it to find a random villager. The price is just right considering its value.

Once you buy the unlockables and things you like... you'll have so many nook miles just sitting there... staring at you... because NMT are a pain to get more than 10 out at once. @.@
Be sure to do your Nook Mile+ quests! Even if it is the annoying ones like "plant a fruit tree" (i have enough fruit trees, thank you...) because you can just dig it back up to sell to the nooklings. Also, scan through the stamps you have missing. A lot of the "higher" tier stamps award 1k-3k nook miles.

I think with the implementation of Nook Miles+, they've gotten really easy to obtain, that's why it's not surprising to see others racking them up by the hundreds. I think they're reasonably priced, but I wouldn't mind if they increased the amount, just to give it more value. But at the same time, I wouldn't mind if they just made the Nook Miles+ tasks more specific, because everything you do will get you miles anyway, especially if you've been logging on on a daily basis you will always be guaranteed the 300 miles.
