i hate it when villagers ask to trade or buy some ugly furniture, and then they replace their original stuff. i've been trying to give pietro back his balloon clock and his colorful wheel, but he won't put them in

i guess this is why original villagers are good, however del was a starter and his house is trash now lol.

Wolfgang was a starter in my second town and now all there is in his house is a cardboard box table and town is only a month old. -.- I also hate it when you trade villagers or get a new one from someone and that villagers house is clogged with crap that doesnt look good and it just makes it look like a dump. I know what you mean. There's such a huge contrast between villagers' houses in my first town and my 2nd town. My 1st town's villager's houses are full of mismatched furniture and some still have horrendous fossils (I thought it would be smart to make a few extra bells off of selling them at re-tail). It didn't bother me too much until I started a new town and actually realised how nice it is to have a villager with his/her original setup. Granted I'll probably never get their pics because I never give them stuff.

yeah, and when you give them their original furniture they place it in the wrong spot, or replace another piece of their orig. furniture. i would be so lucky if i got a dreamie from a campsite since he would be original lol.
as for the catchphrases, i don't mind since i can change it when they ping me.

I'm trying to prevent this from happening with Erik and Flora as I love the interior of their houses. Just today Flora put up her Lovely Loveseat in Re-Tail so I'm thinking about buying and re-gifting it to her. Any non-pink furniture would ruin the rest of the pinkness in her house.

You should get in the habit of playing this like a Metal Gear game when you are carrying fossils or fish. Watch the animals' patrol routes carefully and hide behind trees until they pass. Then, as soon as it's clear, make a break for Re-Tail or the train station's storage locker. I used to just carry fish and fossils around all the time, but no more. I like when they ask for a generic ocean or river fish, because I'll give them a bitterling or a sea butterfly. I used to give sharks to impress them. I think Jitters still has his months later. Oh, and it didn't buy me anything. It was just recently that he finally gave me his picture.

I also go into Solid Snake mode when doing the PWP dive trick. If I'm looking for a particular personality's PWPs, I try to stay out of the line of sight of anyone else. Inevitably, here will come Pecan out from behind a tree saying, "My catchphrase has gotten a little stale!"

Hahaha I had the same problem with Pietro but at the end I managed to make his house look like it should.
Same happened with Muffy.
Right now I am trying to make Bruce house look more fitting for him. Cobb was cooperative so far in fixing his house.

Coco just randomly put her bonfire up for sale in Re-Tail.
