Am I the only one who doesn't like holidays?

I enjoy the holidays, but I have started to participate in them much less then I used to. I do enjoy it while it lasts but I don't exactly be active while participating in them, like on bunny day I wasn't really bothered with collecting the eggs and I just strolled around town a bit enjoying the music. I do enjoy them to an extent though because that means it gives me something to do in town, because sometimes animal crossing can get really tedious, just relaxing in town so it's always nice to have something to do. I just wish there was a bit more to the holidays, as most of them involve collecting special furniture which is already made available to you via the nooklings and it becomes a bit redundant. I think maybe in the future games they should make it a bit more challenging or add more things to do on certain holidays instead of just to collect furniture.

Honestly i wish i could feed isabelle to a shark. I hate when she does stuff like that. Like day 1 of me owning the game and i couldn't start the process of becoming a mayor since "i need to get settled in".

I have been playing the AC series since early '06. Once i got the "ok, you're free to go", i only needed about 20 minutes to get "settled in". I sold some fruit and seashells, put the perfect cherry in storage, bought a couple things, and i was good to go.

What I don't like is the fact that villagers will only talk about that specific event but can still think of moving. Also, I feel like you're forced to partake in that event and it becomes kind of an obligation. For instance, since there is a glitch on Bunny Day, you can't save and quit without having broken all the egg rocks, which makes it kind of cumbersome.
And what bothers me the most is that secretary you have who seems to have more power than you, lol. Like who do you think you are to tell me I can't work? What if I want to?

Yeah, I skip some events too, but it would have been nice to try them all since most event is new to me. Maybe next year I'll participate more often c:

I wish the events had little things extra every year. Update the game to have some new items (unless they plan on coming out with a new one soon). Because it's true, once you get everything what is there to do? And I really wish the winter events weren't so tedious, as well as Pave. >:( (Also, Isabelle needs to run her cute little butt off a cliff, secretaries don't have more power than their bosses. LEMME DO THINGS. If I want PWP's on a holiday, SO BE IT. If I want to put something RIGHT next to something, I'M GONNA. YOU'RE NOT MY MOM.)

The one thing I don't like is rumor movers on holidays. Why does the game ruin a holiday but adding a rumor mover to the event.
It should be a stress free day.

Playing the events with friends is better. I had a blast hosting a Pave party in my guest town. At the time there wasn't a lot of things there so they could run.

The following year I just collect a few pieces because all the Events turn into Pave day. It's all repeats. I got 6 Bunny items and 2 were Egg Benches. I do enjoy talking to the villagers during certain events. Toy Day is my favorite and than Halloween. I love the looks on their faces.
