Yeah it also says you have Gabi. And that doesn't prove a thing. I could take a pic of my villager list right now and say it is my starters list. You could have taken a pic when you were at the tree ceremony, that would have been a good proof.

Well, it is impossible to get smug and uchi as starters! Like others said, if this were actually real then it would be very, very lucky. :) I thought I was fairly lucky enough to get Lolly, Bob and Felicity as starters with Kyle moving in the next day but the tiers usually balance out cuz they try to get most of the personality types in (Cousteau xD). It would be awesome if we could have smugs/uchis as starters though but that would probably make them easier to obtain!

Just Ignore Gabi he just moved in xD

Lol salty thread. If it's true, I assume you bought the game used and they just had luck with random move in and outs or likewise.

Otherwise it seems a bit fishy indeed unless you actually spent the last whatever amount of hours getting very lucky with the rng/campsite.

Haven't unlocked the campsite yet fresh new save
Actually just got my house :D

show us a photo of your trees move in list. if it says no one moved in before gabi, and gabi was the first move-in, thatd be more incentive to believe you, because if you did move in all these villagers and move out others itd be on the list.

however, this is an incredibly common thing to lie about, now that ive looked more into it. some of the people lying are ridiculous, claiming the tree forgot their first move-ins or something, which makes no sense, but still insisting on their lie. theres no need for this. its just messing with statistics and peoples comprehension of what the game can do. 0/500 times did testers get a smug/uchi starter. why would they make chances so low? with 500 tries and 0 occurences, you can assume smug/uchis are impossible, and no one who argued otherwise has ever been able to provide proper proof, while testers seem always willing to prove their theory.

there are more ways you can prove they were starters than a pic of your map.

Yes, why is there an arrow on your list of villagers/things in your town? You could have gotten them from an adoption website like here for instance. Also, you can't get smugs as starting villagers.

Ok will post a pic tomorrow

By which time you could figure out how to Photoshop it. I don't know what this thread was trying to prove. It should be closed since it's caused drama on this forum. This is a happy forum, hope is stays that way.

While I think that proof would be good from a "learning how the game works" perspective (like if we had evidence that a smug could be a starter, that'd be cool to learn), some people are getting ridiculously angry in this thread, I hate how easy it is to get people riled up in a fandom that's about befriending cute animals and gardening tbh.

No one seems especially angry to me, they're just proving points.

Okay, I'm just going to close this here. As others have stated, the villager lineup you've described is not possible based on the way the game is coded. As someone who has a lot of experience with reverse engineering/modification of both games and consoles, I can tell you that you didn't get "lucky" with an impossible lineup of starting villagers, but rather these are villagers you've either had for a while or ones you've gotten via a hacking program.

In the future, please only create threads that have some sort of discussion value rather than something like this that just seems like nothing more than a story made up for attention. Not trying to be too harsh here, but I just don't see the point in creating a thread or continuing discussion about something that the vast majority of the community knows to be impossible.
