Am I crazy or playing ACNH at least 3 hours daily is normal?

It's your time, use it how you want! You may notice your gameplay will ease up the longer you have the game. I put in major hours during quarantine, but have eased up. I returned to work this week so didn't play at all one day and have played minimally the other days. With that being said, I think new content would get me playing a lot more.

I have to agree that if this is greatly affecting your studies, you should definitely prioritize that first. I'm not saying you should stop playing videogames, but Animal Crossing is a game that is meant to be played in short bursts. If you have assignments, do that first then play afterwards. At least you got that over with and you can use this game as your stress-reliever.

It’s not a problem at all. I used to play for 10 hours a day, but now it’s usually like 3 or 5 hours.

Normal yes, but healthy probably not. Video Games should be the last thing on your mind, I think we'd all love to be entertained by Animal Crossing for 10 hours a day but it's just not good mentally. Not on an everyday basis. Especially if you're avoiding things that actually matter.

Although I think 3 hours is like the maximum for a healthy amount. Does anyone remember what the old Nintendo warning said? Like taking a break after 90 minutes? I think two 90 minutes session in a day is like the healthiest you could do. Not reasonable for people who love video games, but it is what it is. You need to balance unhealthy things with healthy ones. For now, as long as your assignments and studying is done, play for as long as you like. I think that's fine in college, it's a stressful environment and you need to do what you gotta do to stay happy as well.

Overall, the crazy thing is not doing anything else and avoiding your responsibilities, You don't need better hobbies in college, I don't think, but you can't neglect your work. Do it first and then play an entire day without guilt. ;)

Absolutely normal! My friend has been playing on average 10 hours daily so you’re good
