Hi there!
I realized that I hadn't actually created an introduction post so here it is. Here I am. Whatever.
My name is Cara. My Mayor in ACNL is also named Cara even though she now looks nothing like me because she spends so much time in the sun. Unlike me, currently, because I live on the East Coast of the US where we have been having an ridiculous heat wave that makes it really unpleasant to step foot outside for more than ten minutes.
I named my town Catville because I couldn't think of a name and I didn't think anyone else would ever see it. I made a mistake. I should have named it something cooler. But to be fair I do like cats. I have two black ones named Thor and Baldur.
Anyhow. I'm probably one of the older people here. I'm 30. My birthday is April 1st (April Fool's Day) for reals.
I'm married to a guy I've been with since college (going on 11 years total now). I have a little girl who is almost three who also likes to play ACNL with me. She wanted me to turn her into Ariel... so I turned her into Ariel and I'm working on getting the mermaid set for her.
I haven't really started doing online play with people yet but I'm like to venture there soon. I've only played this AC game and I've only actually gotten serious about it in the last month or so because I didn't know there were so many awesome things to do! Now I'm spending my evenings catching expensive bugs and trying to figure out how to properly lay out a town. Woops. I'm always a hoarder when it comes to video games - you should see me with games like Skyrim - so this is perfect for me.

Also, as a side note, I'm used to chatting with people who are a lot younger than me since I have a tumblr that I've been running for several years so I have no issues with playing with younger folks on AC. Just think of me as your (not very) cool aunt or something.
