First David Bowie, now him?

He was one of my favorite actors of all time. No one does a better Snape than that man! He was amazing and I'm so sad that he is gone. I heard it on the radio in the car and the speaker said that Rickman wouldn't appear in any new movies and I just thought he would retire from acting - but he was dead so I was pretty upset for the rest of that trip. My day is ruined :c

I was actually watching Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves yesterday in history and thinking how great an actor he is and how great his voice is; devastated to hear of his passing. it hasn't been a very good week in the living department.
His roles in Harry Potter and Die Hard were dear to my heart. Rest in peace, man.

I woke up this morning and heard the news, I almost cried.

His role of Snape was absolutely brilliant.

My husband called me this morning to let me know. He didn't want me logging onto Facebook and finding out that way.

He is easily one of my favorite actors, and the world is just a little darker from the loss. I cried when I found out, and I'm not talking a few cursory tears; this was the ugly, impossible to fake hysterical sobbing that only comes from feeling true pain and loss.

My heart goes out to his family and loved ones during this tragic time.

Heard it on the radio whilst in the car earlier. At first I thought it was some kind of cruel joke, two famous British men, dying of the same thing at the same age in less than a week sounds a bit... Weird.

But then it turned out to be true and I'm, I don't know how to explain it, I'm really sad in one way, but just tired in another. I don't know. Whatever. I'll really miss him being around though, he has been one of my favourite actors for about 15 years now. Feels weird that I'm excited for the new Alice movie, partially because of him, yet he's not even alive anymore.
