Aiming to 100% this game but I have one huge problem

I have no way of getting the street pass badges. No way at all. I can't afford a second 3DS and copy of the game, and live in a remote, quiet town. That, combined with this games decline in popularity means a very low chance of streetpassing anybody. I have no idea how I'm going to be able to get it without resorting to hacking, which I'd really rather avoid doing for this whole run.

Do you live near a Nintendo Zone (Best Buy, Mc D's, Gamestop, etc.)? Do any of your friends own a 3DS?

I checked a Nintendo Zone map, and yeah, I actually do live quite close to one. It's about a 20 minute walk away.

Yeah, your best bet is going to Nintendo Zones. Unfortunately, even for me (someone who travels a decent amount and stops by a lot of McDonald's to load up on streetpasses), I usually only get 2 or 3 ACNL streetpasses out of the 7 or 8 I get at a time. And after 9 months of playing the game, I only have the bronze streetpass badge.

Having said that, if you can go to an airport, you can get dozens of streetpasses at a time. (be sure to buy the streetpass plaza upgrade and be clearing out your streetpasses in your games so you don't fill up on streetpass space!) I haven't been to the local airport yet but they tend to be fantastic places to get many passes.

It takes some money and traveling but the best way for me to get streetpasses is to go to a convention of some kind. Particularly an anime or a gaming one. Everybody brings their DS and there are so many people so streetpassing is easy. I've also found airports to be really good. Of course if you aren't interested in cons then my advice is pretty useless. Good luck!

Well, I visited the only Nintendo Zone close to me and got only 3 streetpasses, none of them for New Leaf. Looks like I may have to resort to hacking after all for these badges :/
