UGHHHHH.Im so mad!!I just restarted my game today, and i couldn't find the perfect map.I was looking for a map that there are no buldings that are SO close to them, apple as the native fruit, and some of my dreamies as starters.Sadly,i couldn't find one. It's so frustated.I know you guys would be like WHAT THE HECK,DUDE!!!,but i think we should choose our starter villagers and native fruit.Im freakin sick and tired of restarting several times to get my perfect town to keep.Had anyone had this problem?

I got a map that I liked on my first try, before I knew about resetting and the like. There is probably a better map out there, but I like the one I have.

If I were you, my map would take priority. There are 333 villagers out there, the chance you even get one of your dreamies is incredibly slim. Besides, even if you don't like your villagers or fruit, you can get new villagers on here/by campsite resetting, and you can plant new fruit. You can't ever edit the main components of your map.

You can't always get what you want in life by whining and pounding your fists just because the other options are frustrating. If they made the game that way then you'd have less to work for.

I'd get a good map. Fruit isn't THAT important. And you can get all your dream villagers later. I'd feel lucky to have even one in my start village.

Sorry for being all whiney-whiney and all that stuff. It's just that i don't want to try like 363377 times or something.

I agree it can be pretty frustrating. I restarted my second town and I settled on a pretty decent map. I ended up having Skye as a starter too. c: Just keep trying and you'll find one you like.

Well. I certainly understand how you feel, having reset four copies ~400+ times total. I can deal with the fruit, but the maps drive me utterly insane. I often aim to start with dreamies and a good map so I'm not entirely sure why that's a bad thing? I get frustrated about it, and I'd much rather we could pick more than 4 maps, but idk.

Tbh I don't want my dreamies when I look for a map. I have places where I want their house and it can't be in just a random place or a bad spot. I got all of my dreamies in under a day by cycling in my 2nd copy so I'm ready to move them in. I just look for a good layout but there are a lot of ones I like. And for my movie town, I needed the fruit to be cherries bc of the movie but I'd be fine with any if it's a good map. I don't **love** a perfect fruit that much.

If you're looking for your dreamies, a certain fruit AND a perfect layout, then you're going to have to restart like 363377 times. Try lowering your standards; maybe look for the perfect layout AND the certain fruit, or the perfect layout and the dreamies. You can always work toward getting your dream villagers, and you can always cut down the native fruit trees you get in favor of the one you like, but you can't really ever change your map (unless you restart again).

My mom made me set up all three of her towns...this women got Diana/Apple/Meringue/Mira [as a uchi later on] however she did get goose...and knox. lol.

idk I like having to work for a perfect town ;u; I love having a weird map too. Majora has three rivers a gasp is heard in the distance and all my pwps fit perfectly. The dreamie hunt is half the fun. From experience tho...find Cyrano was just as hard as finding Zucker since he's often auto-voided. And you meet awesome people through trying to obtain villagers. I would have never signed up for TBT if I wasn't on a man hunt for Ankha. You may not get what you want uvu but you always get you need

Edit: now I will say, I plot resetted my 9th villager [that weird trick idk what to call it] for Marina for literally 2 hours. Only because I did not feel like buying her so I do know how you feel

It's okay. :) And we are talking about a game here - it's not like you were expecting real life to be perfect. I wouldn't be at all upset if we could have a LITTLE more control. Maybe a villager or two of our choice and a fruit wouldn't kill anything. I like to work for things, but sometimes a little bit of choice would make the experience more enjoyable.

And I spent a couple hours resetting my Main Town and I was probably as frustrated as you. *hug!*

I beg to differ from the folks who say that fruit doesn't matter. I get sad sometimes because I can't grow perfect apples in my town.

You were just venting your frustrations. Resetting is actually really tedious and repetitive. I can understand where you're coming from, but you should at least try to focus more on getting the fruit and map you want. Try not to worry about the villagers so much. Even if a dreamie is there their house location may not be good to begin with. Good luck tomorrow. I hope that you find the map you are looking for.

Pretty much this. Also you'll have a villager move in everyday till you're at nine. Plot reset each day for one you like each day and you can get 4 dreamies.
